FRAUD: Hushpuppi,Hushpuppi, Gang Defrauded 1,926,400 People, Made N168bn – Dubai Police

    The Dubai Police Force, United Arab Emirates, has revealed how it arrested Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abass, aka Hushpuppi. • In a video released on its official Twitter handle on Thursday, the Middle-East police said a special team had been tracking the suspect and his gang’s activities on social media for about four months. • The police revealed that upon the arrest of Hushpuppi and 12 other members of his crew, it discovered that fraud amounting to 1.6 billion Dirham (N168 billion) had been committed by the gang. • No fewer than 1,926,400 people from different parts of the world were also said to have fallen victims to the suspects. According to the police, 13 luxury cars, estimated at 35 million Dirham (N3.7 billion) were recovered from the house where they were arrested. • The Dubai police said the operation leading to the arrests was dubbed "Fox Hunt 2". JUST IN : Makinde Reopens Schools, Churches, Mosques in Oyo

Governor Seyi Makinde has further eased restrictions that had earlier been implemented in Oyo State to combat the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force, chaired by the governor, announced on Monday, June 15, 2020 that critical classes for Primary Six, JSS 3 and SS 3 students can resume on June 29. The schools have been directed to observe COVID-19 protocols, and ensure that stations for washing of hands are provided for students. All students are also required to compulsorily wear face masks, another safety measure to combat the spread of the disease. The resumption, according to the government, is to ensure the students are well-prepared for the public examinations ahead of them. "The resumption of critical classes at the end of June 2020, would be two clear weeks ahead of the state's drop-dead date of July 15. Schools To Be Reopened On July 13th For Final Year, SSCE And Primary Six Students - FG

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha has revealed that schools will be reopened on July 13th 2020 to enable final year, SSCE and Primary Six students take their exams. This announcement came today in the meeting held in Abuja on daily COVID-19 briefing. Boss Mustapha on Monday said schools remain closed until further evaluations but on Wednesday revealed the Federal Government intention to reopen schools for the sake of final year students, SSCE students and Primary six students. This decision is due is a welcome development as these people that fall under this category will be able to take their exams so as to take a step ahead. It's barely two days since the second phase of the lockdown ended. BREAKING: Kogi Accuses FG, NCDC of Using Compromised Machines as the State Records New Case

The Kogi State Government on Wednesday accused the Federal Ministry of Health and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control of bringing machines that had been programmed to record positive Covid- 19 cases only to the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja. A statement by the Commissioner for Information , Kingsley Fanwo, said sample collection materials had been infected with Covid- 19. “ Our people should be careful in accessing health care at FMC, Lokoja for now . The institution has become an incubation point for breeding false Covid-19 cases. “ Both the Federal Ministry of Health and the NCDC are not trusted and we have every reason not to ever believe their commercial efforts against Covid-19, ” the commissioner said .
